this case involving a transgendered student. was video taped and identified as female. says she was repeatedly bullied and that prompted her to confront fellow students that were harassing her. she had been bleak for a while leading up to that incident. pam? school administrators say it who snapped.after being bullied over a period of one of the girls who had been doing the bulling. here's the video showing some of the fight. for people were involved in the fight - all sophomores. the transgender student and happened in a courtyard wednesday between 6th and 7th periods., right in the middle of dozens of stundets at hercules middle high school. we'll freeze the video.so you can see the transgender student.the one with the white skirt and black top. previous bullying of this transgender student is something administrators were aware of. offcials talked to the girls doing the bullying.but something investigated as a possible >> pam: happening now --- friends and family are getting ready for a memorial tonight. for a teen girl. hit and killed

say the lone male student was confronted by three armed men who then robbed the student of his wallet and cell phone before fleeing southbound toward campus >> reporter:and then approximately 14 minutes later, say police, the same suspects confronted a group of four other students here at the corner of mission street and park avenue, a residential area near held at gunpoint, one of them >> reporter:eventually forced to the ground and pistol-whipped before being robbed. police have since stepped up patrols in the area. >> reporter:students are being alerted about what happened and reminded about the many emergency call boxes around campus, like this one, not far from where the first student was robbed. >> providing this teutons was better information on how to better prepare themselves when walking around campus >> reporter:the three suspects, who remain at large, are described only as african american males

reports on a recent shooting. where the victim is still in the hospital as police try and figure out what happened. and the steps they are taking to address the larger problems. >> reporter: this comes on the heels of a string of other assaults and robberies. san rafael police talks about what they are doing to try to track down the shooting the suspect of the shooting. >> over the past 12 months we have had 10 shootings and seven stabbings year in san rafael and just the 11th week. we have had by shootings. oftentimes there are some times the gain related but not exclusively.

there has been domestic violence related or perhaps a prostitution component to it. we are really addressing every strategizing our resources. >> pam: dublin police are searching for 3- intruders. who tied-up an elderly woman during a home invasion robbery monday night. this happened around 9=pm on cerreto drive. money and jewelery were among the items taken. the suspects were seen getting away in a newer model, dark colored, chevy or g-m-c pick-up. dublin police say, the incident follows a recent wave of burglaries in the area. >> reporter:it's a race against time. banks across the country need to upgrade their a-t- m's by next month. or customers' information could be at risk.

>> pam: a bizarre story out of new jersey: a high school honor student and cheerleader. is suing her own parents. the teen claims, her parents threw her out, and are now making her foot the bill for college. her father says. this is not true. christine sloan has more. >>"we're being sued by our own child. i am dumb founded. so is my wife and other daughter's." >> reporter:his daughter. rachel canning. is an an honor morris catholic high school in new jersey. in court papers. she alleges her parents abandoned when she turned 18. and are now refusing to pay for her to go to college. despite the fact she's gotten acceptance universities. her father tells a different story. >>"i know rachel is a a good kid and b an incredibly rebellious teen, and she's getting some terrible information." >> reporter:he claims she ran away in november because she didn't want to follow house rules.
